Debra is motivated and inspired by Western Canada and the Prairie Provinces.
She feels that each province has its own definitive difference; from the amazing clear lakes of Manitoba, the beautiful colours of the Saskatchewan prairies, the majestic mountains of Alberta and the beautiful coastal sea of British Columbia.

Debra McGinnis enjoys teaching art, especially to people who have thought all their lives, that they don’t have artistic talent.
Sure, it might be easier for some people but colour theory and perspective can be taught. As long as you’re having a good time and enjoying; why not just try.
